MARRIAGE: LOVE THAT KEEP COUPLES TOGETHER

Marriage is a Spiritual Relationship. Successful marriages are made up of two people who are individually married to God before they are married to each other.
The strongest bond that unites husband and wife is the bond that each of them has with God. The love that keeps couples together is the love that each of them has for God.
Human love fails but God’s love is eternal. God is love. Therefore true love is from God. Successful couples individually fall in love with God first & let their spouses occupy the privileged second position.
Marriage fails when spouses place each other above God. Let your spouse know that before you married him/her you were married to Christ.
Before you say “I do” to your spouse say “I do” to Christ. Encourage your spouse to renew his/her vows with Christ before he/she renews vows with you. You cannot rekindle your horizontal marriage before you rekindle your vertical one.
